The Times

I started at The Times in 2018 as a full time graduate designer and later progressed to a mid weight designer, and now freelance designer. I worked on layout designs, typography and redesign across print, web, tablet and on social media platforms. I turned my hand to every section of the paper, from the front page of the main paper, to designing entire sections and creating visual content for their online counterparts. Below are some examples of the type of work and sections I designed.

An example of one of my redesigns is Caitlin Moran’s Celebrity watch, one of our most read weekly features. I was tasked with coming up with a new design that could be recreated each week for the website.

On the digital night shift I create landing pages, composites and pinch to zoom graphics amongst other things for the tablet and website

Instagram story cards, these are designed to be clear and concise and lead readers directly to the website
